Heathlands School

Back in April 2021, we had some installations at a school in St. Albans. The school chose our Sensory Path, which we had designed to fit in the playground before sending over a plan to be approved by the school prior to installation. Sensory paths include activities that create sensations or impulses that are triggered by visual or tactile objects, which means that including a sensory path on your playground will help challenge the children and encourage learning and decision-making!

After the installation at Heathlands School for Deaf Children, the school staff wrote to us and told us how happy they were with the installation, and we agree – we couldn’t be happier with the way the markings turned out! Take a look at the photos below that the school took of the markings!

The school was very pleased with the markings and the pupils couldn’t wait to play on them. They even sent us a card to say thanks, which we loved because it lets us know that we’re doing a great job and building relationships with our customers.

As we are very passionate about exercise and getting active at Thermmark, we think something like a sensory path is a great way to develop lots of different skills whilst keeping kids active, making them a great addition to any school playground. Even better, because our markings last for many years, they will provide fun, education, and fitness for the current and future pupils for a long time, enabling you to use them in PE, at playtime, and to add extra value throughout the curriculum.

There’s so much room for creativity!

If you’re looking for something like a sensory path, check out our products. Need something else? Get in contact with us and let us know what you’re looking for, we’re a creative team, and we’d be glad to help you with all sorts of playground games!
